This policy explains how Solutions Aquaverter inc. (“Aquaverter”, “we”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit aquaverterbarriers.com, fill out our form, or exchange text messages with us.

Who is responsible for your information

What we collect

• What you type in our form: your name, phone number, email address and property type.
• Your answers to our text messages, for example your postal code, whether you own the property, and whether water has come in before.
• Notes from our calls and your home assessment.
• Basic website data: pages visited, device type, and how you reached our page, through cookies and similar tools.

Why we use it

• To answer your request, call you, and book your free assessment.
• To prepare an exact price for your property.
• To send you text messages about your request, if you agreed to receive them.
• To measure which of our ads bring requests, so we spend less on ads that do not work.

We do not use your information for any other purpose without asking you first.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the text message box on our form, we may text you about your request: a few quick questions about your property, and messages to schedule your assessment. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages. Reply HELP for help, or call 438-801-8819. Agreeing to text messages is not a condition of getting a quote.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text message opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to anyone. The only exception is the service providers that deliver the messages for us, listed below, who may not use them for anything else.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:

• HighLevel, our customer management and messaging platform, and the phone carriers it uses to deliver text messages.
• Google and Meta, to measure the results of our ads.

Where it is stored

Some of these providers store information outside Quebec, including in the United States. Before sending information outside Quebec, we check that it will be protected properly.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as we need it to answer your request, serve you as a customer, and meet our legal obligations. After that, we destroy it or make it anonymous.

Cookies

Our pages use cookies and similar tools to measure visits and ad results. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The page still works without them.

Your rights

• Ask to see the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct it.
• Withdraw your consent, including to text messages, at any time.
• Ask us to delete it, when the law allows.
• File a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

To use any of these rights, contact the person in charge above. We answer within 30 days.

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
